News media: Abortionists best friend

American media outlets, with only a few exceptions are some of abortion doctors' best friends. How many times do you see an article in major newspapers hostile to the atrocity of the killing of the unborn? Yet when an abortion doctor is killed by a lunatic, that same news media is quick to follow up with articles painting all pro-lifers as "extremist" and maniacal. The truth is, anybody who murders an abortionist is a lunatic. However, acknowledging and protesting the killing of the unborn does not make anybody a lunatic. But that is the broad stroke the news media is willing to allow pro-lifers to be painted with.

The latest in the unbridled and unmasked sympathy that the media has for these sorry scourges to society is the article in the LA Times about abortion provider Warren Hern who is "shocked and grieved" over fellow abortionist, George Tiller, who was recently shot and killed. Turns out that these two were great friends, Hern describing Tiller as somebody that he loved. They hiked and skied together the article goes on to state, and gives Hern unbridled access to an audience that will see nothing but his grief and stress.

In the article, numerous references are made to the way Hern has to live to be an abortionist. Strict security measures, sleeping with a gun, constant threats on his life. So why do it? Why, when he is a doctor that could have entered so many fields of medicine that help people, why insist in the killing of the unborn? That's easy. When all you have to do is quickly kill something and prescribe antibiotics, charging a hefty price to do so, with little overhead it's quite lucrative. Poor abortionist Hern is all stressed out about the way he lives, but, hey........it's a great way to make a living. Bottom line answer is, it's worth it to him.

One of the most nauseating statements in the whole article is this statement: "When Hern performed his first abortion, on a 17-year-old girl, he later wrote, he cried with a sense of relief because he had made a difference in her future." Yeah, he did. He destroyed the life in her and left her with a never ending guilt that she will carry to her grave. I'm sure she appreciates it today. The LA Times letting that kind of drivel into the article shows their bent on this scourge to society.

I am ardently pro-life, and I am a gun owner. But I, like all sane pro-lifers (which is almost all of them) will never do one bit of physical harm to an abortion provider. I will do everything legally in my power to stop them, but they will never have to fear anything else from me or most any pro-lifer. Yet the news media is obviously intent on making sure the abortionist, who has chosen killing as their mode of medical activity, is painted as a perpetual victim with all pro-lifers lurking in the background waiting to pounce on them.

To put things in perspective, a handful of abortion doctors have been killed by lunatics in the U.S. Forty million unborn children have been exterminated by abortionists. I'm all for condemning the killing of the abortion providers and the news media reporting their comments and perspective in a free society. The problem is, the news media never speaks for the tens of millions of dead unborn these so called "doctors" have left in their wake.

The news media is the best friend of all that is turning America into a modern day Sodom.
